Αυτά είναι κάποια από τα ερωτήματα στα οποία έρχεται να δώσει απαντήσεις το Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας του ACT μέσα από μία διαδραστική εκδήλωση. Ενημερωθείτε για τα τελευταία θεωρητικά και ερευνητικά δεδομένα που σχετίζονται με τον τρόπο που ορίζουμε την ευτυχία και τις μεθόδους για να αναπτύξετε τη θετικότητά σας και συζητήστε με τον βασικό ομιλητή μας για τους μύθους και τις αλήθειες που αφορούν στη θετική ψυχολογία.

Στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης, οι φοιτητές και οι φοιτήτριες των προγραμμάτων Ψυχολογίας του ACT θα παρουσιάσουν τα posters των ερευνητικών τους εργασιών και θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να τα συζητήσουν με το κοινό.

Ο Δρ. Αναστάσιος Σταλίκας είναι καθηγητής και πρόεδρος του Τμήματος Ψυχολογίας στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο. Είναι ο ιδρυτής και Πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Θετικής Ψυχολογίας (ΕΕΘΕΨΥ). Γεννήθηκε στην Θεσσαλονίκη. Σπούδασε ψυχολογία στο Concordia University στο Μόντρεαλ του Καναδά κι ολοκλήρωσε τις μεταπτυχιακές του σπουδές στο University of Ottawa του Καναδά. Διαθέτει μακρά διδακτική εμπειρία έχοντας διατελέσει Καθηγητής Ψυχολογίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο McGill στο Μόντρεαλ, στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Ottawa, στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κρήτης. Στα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα συμπεριλαμβάνονται θέματα κλινικής, συμβουλευτικής, οργανωτικής και οικονομικής Ψυχολογίας ενώ ειδικεύεται σε ζητήματα μεθοδολογίας έρευνας και στατιστικής. Έχει δημοσιεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό πρωτότυπων επιστημονικών εργασιών σε διεθνή και πανελλήνια συνέδρια και περιοδικά. Είναι συγγραφέας επιστημονικών βιβλίων με επίκεντρο την Κλινική και Συμβουλευτική Ψυχολογία. Διδάσκει επίσης στο Δίπλωμα Θετικής Ψυχολογίας της ΕΕΘΕΨΥ. Η ΕΕΘΕΨΥ αποτελεί τον μοναδικό φορέα στην Ελλάδα που ασχολείται με την επιστημονική συνεισφορά της Θετικής Ψυχολογίας στη Ελλάδα συμμετέχοντας ενεργά στην διεθνή ερευνητική κοινότητα και συμβάλλοντας στην παραγωγή και ανάπτυξη της επιστημονικής γνώσης.

Δημήτρης Ανδρίτσος
CEO, Cerved Property Services SA

Ο κ. Δημήτρης Ανδρίτσος είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Cerved Property Services ενώ κατείχε την ίδια θέση στην Eurobank Property Services από το 2008-2018. Έχει διατελέσει επικεφαλής Συμβουλευτικών Υπηρεσιών στον τομέα ακινήτων της Eurobank από το 2001.
Έχει επίσης εργαστεί στην EFG Eurobank Leasing, όπου κατείχε τη θέση του Διευθυντή Χρηματοδοτήσεων (1998-2000), ενώ την περίοδο 1994 - 1998 εργάσθηκε στην Τράπεζα Κύπρου, ως Senior Officer στο Corporate Lending Division.
Έχει πολυετή εμπειρία, σε αξιολογήσεις επενδύσεων σε εμπορική αποτίμηση και αξιολόγηση ακινήτων, σε δόμηση σχημάτων χρηματοδότησης, σε οργάνωση χρηματοδότησης έργων ανάπτυξης ακινήτων (Project Finance), σε δημιουργία επενδυτικών χαρτοφυλακίων ακινήτων, σε κατάρτιση επιχειρηματικών σχεδίων, στην αξιολόγηση πιστοληπτικής ικανότητας εταιριών, στη χρηματοοικονομική ανάλυση με σκοπό την αξιολόγηση εναλλακτικών σεναρίων αξιοποίησης ακινήτων και στην εφαρμογή οικονομικών μοντέλων για την αξιολόγηση μελετών βιωσιμότητας.
Έχει σπουδάσει στην Ελλάδα και στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία, διαθέτει πτυχίο από το Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και Μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Ουαλίας (MSc in banking & Finance, University of Wales). Επίσης είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικού διπλώματος από το Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης.

Ο Χρήστος Κοσμάς είναι Partner στο τμήμα Χρηματοοικονομικών Υπηρεσιών (FAS) της Deloitte στην Ελλάδα και υπεύθυνος για τον κλάδο του Real Estate. Έχει περισσότερα από 20 έτη εμπειρίας στην Deloitte. Η εμπειρία του στον τομέα του Corporate Finance του έχει προσφέρει ευρεία έκθεση σε διάφορους τομείς, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των: ακίνητης περιουσίας (συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των Ανωνύμων Εταιριών Επενδύσεων σε Ακίνητη Περιουσία - ΑΕΕΑΠ), τουρισμού και αναψυχής, εστίασης, υπηρεσιών κοινής ωφέλειας, μεταποίησης, ενέργειας και ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας, μέσων ενημέρωσης και τηλεπικοινωνιών, χρηματοδοτικής μίσθωσης και μη εξυπηρετούμενων δανείων. Δημήτρης Κυπαρίσσης
CEO, Optima bank

Διαθέτοντας πάνω από 25 έτη εμπειρίας στον τραπεζικό χώρο, ο κ. Δημήτρης Κυπαρίσσης κατέχει τη θέση του CEO της Optima bank.
Ξεκίνησε τη σταδιοδρομία του στην Xiosbank το 1993, όπου δημιούργησε το τμήμα χρηματοδότησης αυτοκινήτων προτού αναλάβει την ευθύνη για το σύνολο της λιανικής πίστης.
Το 2000 ο κ. Κυπαρίσσης ως μέλος της ιδρυτικής ομάδας της νεοσύστατης Novabank, δημιούργησε τα τμήματα credit της τράπεζας.
Το 2002 τον βρήκε στην Τουρκία όπου λάνσαρε τη νεοσύστατη θυγατρική της Novabank, την bankEuropa.
Επιστρέφοντας, το 2004, ανέλαβε διάφορες θέσεις στη Millennium bank και έγινε μέλος του διοικητικού συμβουλίου, αρμόδιος για θέματα credit και operations.
Το 2010 έγινε Γενικός Διευθυντής του Ταχυδρομικού Ταμιευτηρίου, υπεύθυνος για τον τομέα λιανικής τραπεζικής.
Μεταξύ 2016 και 2018 ήταν επικεφαλής του δικτύου καταστημάτων λιανικής της Eurobank.
Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2019 συμμετείχε στην εξαγορά της Επενδυτικής Τράπεζας Ελλάδος, με στόχο την μετατροπή της σε μία επιτυχημένη εμπορική τράπεζα, τη σημερινή Optima bank, στην οποία κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθύνοντος Συμβούλου.
Ο κ. Δημήτρης Κυπαρίσσης, είναι κάτοχος B.Sc., Accounting & Finance από το Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο της Ελλάδας και MBA, Financial Services Management από το University of Sheffield, UK.

ACT’s four-year BS program in Biological Sciences is the culmination of its 15-year past experience in developing and delivering STEM curriculum in collaboration with leading American educational institutions, such as Northeastern University and Washington University. This degree provides graduates with a solid foundation of scientific knowledge from the molecular to the ecosystemic level, but also equips them with practical laboratory experience and research skills which are essential and valuable in a wide range of advanced studies or employment options.

The program is delivered face-to-face, in Full-Time or Part-Time mode. Minimum duration: 4 years. For fee information, please refer to the student handbook.

• Experience science in ACT’s state-of-the-art labs: the General & Organic Chemistry Lab, the Biology & Microbiology Lab, the Physics Lab, as well as the Computer Labs, fully equipped for all your needs.

More about the labs

The labs at ACT are equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory instruments and devices in order to carry out molecular, biochemical and physiological analyses. These include qualitative and quantitative determination of gene expression, study of metabolic pathways and investigation of physiological parameters under stressful conditions. The laboratory facilities give students access to an impressive array of technologies, equipment, and apparatuses. Combined with the expertise of the faculty members who run the labs and carry out numerous research projects, students have the space and support to grow scientifically and become part of a flourishing academic community.

Brief Description

In the face of global challenges such as climate change and environmental management, population growth and food security, and biotechnology and human health, the Biological Sciences have never been more important. Recent discoveries in the field have advanced at breathtaking speeds with beneficial outcomes for mankind. 

ACT’s four-year BS program in Biological Sciences is the culmination of its 15-year past experience in developing and delivering STEM curriculum in collaboration with leading American educational institutions, such as Northeastern University and Washington University.

This degree provides graduates with a solid foundation of scientific knowledge from the molecular to the ecosystemic level, but also equips them with practical laboratory experience and research skills which are essential and valuable in a wide range of advanced studies or employment options. 

Degree Requirements

In order to receive the BS degree, the student must have fulfilled all the GER and major requirements and have completed at least 124 US credit hours (248 ECTS) with an overall G.P.A of 2.0 or better. All Biological Sciences students must complete two-semester sequence Thesis I and Thesis II course. According to NECHE Standards, students must complete at least one fourth of their undergraduate program, including advanced work in the major or concentration, at the institution awarding the degree. As a consequence, all candidates for an ACT degree must have been in residence at the College for at least during the last two semesters of full time instruction, assuming availability and equivalency of transferable courses

Open University degree structure

The program in Computer Science is currently validated by Open University: under this scheme, 19 are out of the 36 courses (360 UK credits) required for the Bachelor degrees are validated by Open University. Students must necessarily take the fourth year courses at ACT. Successful students will receive a Bachelor’s degree from Open University in addition to the ACT degree for a single course of studies by meeting the following common set of requirements (in addition to meeting General Education Requirements)—courses highlighted in bold are validated by Open University. For more information, check the student handbook.
