Updates regarding coronavirus COVID-19

Based on the relevant decree by the Greek Ministry of Health addressing precautionary measures in response to COVID-19, all academic institutions are to suspend classroom courses. As a result, ACT’s courses and services are mediated via electronic means.

English Requirements

The language of instruction at ACT is English. Therefore, candidates are required to have a good command of the English language.

Prospective Greek Students

  • C1, C2 Certificate holders: accepted
  • B2 Certificate holders with high scores*: accepted
  • B2 Low Certificate holders with low scores: interview for placement
  • B1 equivalent Certificate holders: enter the “regular Program with language support”

Non-Greek prospective Students

  • C1, C2 Certificate holders: accepted
  • B2 Certificate holders with high scores*: accepted
  • B2 Certificate holders with low scores or B1 equivalent Certificate holders: take the English Placement Evaluation

If you do not meet the English language requirements for admission, the ACT English department will conduct an interview in English to assess your level. The outcome of the interview may lead you to either follow the regular ACT program with no additional English language support or to additional English instruction through the ACT English Lab in addition to the semester course load. The Lab is designed to assist incoming students to improve their English language skills.
