ACT Men’s Basketball team in the 4th World Universities International Championships

ACT Men’s Basketball team in the 4th World Universities International Championships

November 14-18, Barcelona

As students of ACT we had the opportunity to be part of a team, the Basketball team. A unique team that is being reformed every semester with different students all around the world. This semester ACT gave us the chance to participate at the 4th World InterUniversities Championships in Barcelona. Many of the players have been part of a team before, while for others this was their first time competing in a tournament. Regardless of that, for all of us the feeling that surpassed all others was that of excitement. Excitement of being part of this team and mostly of having this chance to represent Greece and ACT. The moment we arrived in Barcelona we were completely ready for our first game on the tournament, after, of course, all our thorough organization during the summer that preceded our trip. Now that the games have been completed, we feel that we had an amazing experience, being a team and experiencing the environment of a tournament. We would like to express our deep gratitude for ACT, which gave us this one of a kind experience. Without ACT we would not have been able to attend and compete at this tournament.

Ioannis Kavazidis
