On October 10th, the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) hosted a lecture on "Socialentrepreneurship."

The Lecture was delivered within the context of Contemporary Politics (Pol 101), Personal Development and Employability (Psy 170), Practicum 300 (Internships) and Service Learning (399) by guest speaker, Ms. Eva Sarigiannidou, Chemist (MSc), Sr. Business Strategist, Founder Thrive EMS, co-founder "Vres Ftera" NGOhttps://vresftera.com.

Dr. Maria Kyriakidou, Chair of the HSS Division, introduced the speaker to students. Ms. Sarigiannidou spoke about the psychological and political dimensions of social entrepreneurship and the internship opportunities in the field. The event was well attended by many students and faculty members: Ms. Despoina Dimopoulou, Adjunct Instructor for PSY 170; Dr. Christos Aliprantis, Adjunct Professor for Service Learning (399); and Dr. Aimiliza Stefanidou, Coordinator of Psychology. Dr. Kyriakidou facilitated the Q&A session and the workshop that followed.
