Georgios Anastasiadis

Mr. Anastasiadis’s main areas of interest include managerial economics, banking-finance, European economy, globalization and operations management. He is council member (Status: Leader, Global Rank: top 4%) of the leading global network of experts Gerson Lehrman Group (US) consulting international clients on global and country risk issues.  In the past, he held various posts within Standard & Poor’s ranging from senior economist to senior associate working on international economic issues, forecasting and promoting consulting projects for business and international organizations. Acted as a representative of Global Insight (US) for South Eastern Europe and has significant experience in EU research projects. He has worked in key global locations including London, Milan, Brussels, Hong Kong, New York and others.

Anestis Anastasiou

Anestis has been in the corporate training and HR consulting industry for almost 2 decades at a national and international level, mainly specialized in the Tourism and Hospitality sector. His teaching and corporate training experience exceeds 9000 hours and specializes in: customer service and sales techniques, management and leadership, and train the trainer programs.

 

Thanasis Dermentzopoulos – Instructor of Destination Management

Thanasis Dermetzopoulos is a BSc holder in Hospitality Management from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, and an MSc holder in Tourism Planning, Management and Policy, from the University of the Aegean, Greece. He has been teaching at various international Universities since 2006 and has been a business consultant specialized in research and development of tourism destinations.

 

George Fassas – Instructor of Tourism E-Business

George Fassas holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, Greece and an MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University, USA. Since 2004 he has been teaching at the University of Sheffield International Faculty, City College, the course “Building a Successful Web Presence”. In 2009 he founded and since then runs “Head in Beds”, a Hotel e-Business Consulting Company.

Nikolaos Hourvouliades, Ph.D, Chair, Anatolia School of Business

Dr. Hourvouliades has received his Master's from Yale SOM and his PhD from Aristotle University. He specializes in international portfolio management and economentrics. His research has been presented in numerous conferences and published in scientific journals. His prior academic experience includes both private and public institutions and has been a guest lecturer in business schools across the Balkan region. He has also served as a special consultant in state organizations and has obtained top-level managerial positions in the private banking industry. Dr. Hourvouliades is also a member of various professional organizations and acts as a financial mentor in private corporations.

Sevasti Kessapidou, Ph.D

Sevasti Kessapidou's research, teaching and professional development activities focus on organizational leadership and management communication. Her publications focus on the relation of corporate culture and language as it determines strategic communication employed by businesspeople in various business settings. She also examines how corporate culture can affect the performance as well as the choice of manager in cross-cultural co-operations. Dr.Kessapidou participated in executive seminars targeting administrators organized by the Trade Facilitation and Cultural Affairs. She has been actively engaged in privet sector activities and professional development in the area of management communication. She is the Director of Anatolia Institute of Management Leadership, an institute charged with tackling the subject of leadership along dimensions ranging from individual skill development to organizational effectiveness.

 

Makis Monastiridis – Instructor of Events Management

Makis Monastiridis holds a BSc in Marketing from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece, an MA in Marketing and an MPhil in New Product Development from the University of Sunderland, UK. Finally he got his PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has been a research partner and lecturer at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki for 5 years now. Also, since 2002 he serves as a Marketing Manager at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

Hercules Mousiades

Mr. Mousiades has over 25 years experience in marketing, strategic planning and new product and business development with major industrial and high technology companies.  In his management consulting capacity he currently heads the marketing effort at US Oil Lubricants and advises Rolls-Royce Nuclear on its commercial nuclear power services strategy.  He has also consulted with Sappi, Appleton Coated, Boldt, International Paper, Wausau-Mosinee, Kodak, Carrefour, and Inform Lykos among others.  Mr. Mousiades also owns and directs Park SA (a hotel management services company) and teaches at Quinlan Graduate School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. Previously, he was Vice President, Global Marketing with Scitex, a $750 million high technology company; served as Vice President, Marketing and New Business Development with Appleton Papers, a $1.1 billion specialty papers manufacturer; and held various marketing and product management positions with Mead Corporation and Seiko Epson.  Mr. Mousiades holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Business from Wright State University. 

Theodoros Papanestoros – Instructor of Tourism Marketing

Theodore Papanestoros holds a BS in Marketing from Deree College, Greece and a Master's in Marketing from Middlesex University, UK. He is currently the Director of Marketing at Anatolia College handling all school's constituencies: Anatolia Elementary school, Anatolia High School, and ACT - The American College of Thessaloniki. Prior to that, he has been in the Advertising and Marketing industry in various reputable companies. He has also been successfully teaching Advertising at an undergraduate level at ACT.
