Seminar Description

Could you define competitive advantage? How about barriers to entry?
If so, how can one quantify and measure it?

Executives often confuse strategy with planning. Never losing sight of your competition will help you avoid wars that you cannot win. It will also direct your attention to protecting your competitive advantage, which is the real basis for your success.

Competition is the monster that every business is afraid of. In this seminar, competition is demystified, explained, and handled as the enemy or ally, as the case may be.

This enlightening ACT business seminar is based on the hugely popular Executive MBA course at Columbia Business School and follows the highly-acclaimed book "Competition Demystified", where leading economist Bruce C. Greenwald and co-author Judd Kahn "offer an easy-to-follow method for understanding the competitive structure of your industry and developing an appropriate strategy for your specific position." You will also be studying real world Harvard Business Review cases, gaining valuable insight that will help you distinguish the facts and fiction about competition, and the secrets of coming out a winner.

This seminar is addressed to:
  • Business owners
  • CEOs
  • CFOs
  • Executives
  • Managers
