Dear ACT Visitor,

Welcome! My colleagues and I at The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) are very pleased that you have chosen to visit our website. We hope that you will find the information here that you are looking for presented in a way that is easy for you to use. If for some reason you can’t find the information you are seeking, please call the Admissions Office at 2310-398398 from where they can direct you to the right place or program.

Since you have landed here at the ACT website, you should be aware that it is the higher education division of Anatolia, an integrated educational center now well into its second century of service. As a leader in global education, ACT is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and also has its degrees externally validated by the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. This means that its degrees are approved both within the United States and the European Union.

Some of ACT’s most eye-catching features are the following:
  • Offers Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees in business, business information systems, and international relations as well as general course work in a number of other fields of study

  • Offers an MBA program with specialties in Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing

  • Enrolls more than 150 study abroad students annually from North America

  • Features one of the most advanced, comfortable, sophisticated and user-friendly library facilities in Europe, including the Stavros Niarchos Technology Center

  • Offers specialized summer programs in a number of interesting academic areas

  • Provides ready access to some of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece

  • Offers the opportunity for unmatched recreational, sport, and touring activities with beautiful beaches, historic sites, and mountain sports activities centers less than an hour from campus

  • Provides housing in the heart of the city for those who want to experience a vibrant and safe European metropolis with a population exceeding one million and many cultural opportunities
With a truly international student body, ACT provides a stimulating global learning environment. It enables Greek students to acquire important business and technology skills, as well as the peripheral vision, to compete on an equal basis with students from across the EU in an increasingly-competitive job market. Balkan students find ACT to be the preferred springboard to professional careers with multinational companies and NGOs or to further graduate studies abroad. Americans, in turn, are able to experience the globalization phenomenon first hand and to witness how the United States appears from a European vantage point.

Thanks so much for taking the time to explore our site. I believe that you will see how much ACT has to offer you.
