Dukakis Chair in Public Policy. Dr. Neils presented evidence for a radically new interpretation of the Parthenon frieze which situates the different sculptural sections, traditionally viewed as representing mythological scenes, within the larger context of the Periklean post-Persian War political program. ACT CAREER FAIR 2007 The BLCS would like to thank all ACT staff and faculty for their support of this year’s Career Fair. The ACT Career Fair 2007 came to a close on Thursday, March 22, 2007. Approximately 130 interviews were conducted over the course of 3 days with 15 firms in the Bissell Library. Juniors, seniors, MBA students and alumni participated in the annual interviewing event. Overall, the event served its purpose in giving candidates the opportunity to interview on campus as well as strengthening ties between ACT and the business community. However, this event does not put an end to the job search process. On the contrary, candidates should be asking themselves “So now what???”
The follow-up of a career fair is just as important as the preparation.
Candidates should be considering these and other questions as part of their
overall job search activities. Don’t forget that finding a job is a full
time job!! |
| There’s no time like the present to get a jump start on your career. More details in the next issue. |
