PRINT PERIODICALS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED IN THE BISSELL LIBRARY!

In addition to the hard copy magazines, newspapers and journals for which the Library has paid subscriptions (several of which are paid by donors), there a more than a few periodicals the Library carries that can be subscribed to for free. The Library displays them among the other journals and back issues may be borrowed as well. However, since these publications are not indexed in any of the online indexes, you would only find them by browsing. They include:

CORBIS FOCUS

Each issue of the CORDIS Focus Newsletter provides a review of the most recent and most important developments in European research and innovation, covering policy discussions and developments, EU funded projects and research results, calls for proposals and tenders, forthcoming events and much more.

EL AVENIR

The English newsletter of the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki

EREVNON ANALEKTA

The journal of the Research Committee of the Aistotelion University of Thessaloniki, dealing with ssues pertaining to the university’s research activities. In Greek.

EUROBSTRACTS

Euroabstracts is published six times a year as part of the European Commission's Sixth Research Framework Programme. It provides brief but authoritative summaries of the key facts and ideas from recent publications on innovation from the Commission and other international bodies.

EUROPEAN INNOVATION

European Innovation, launched in July 2005, replaces the former Innovation & Technology Transfer. The magazine continues to cover the latest developments in innovation policy and practice in the European Union, but is no longer limited to technology.

IQ MAGAZINE

Published by Cisco Systems and directed toward small and medium-sized businesses who use network technology.

LEVY ECONOMICS INSTITUE OF BARD COLLEGE NEWSLETTER

The Institute founded in 1986 through the generous support of Bard College trustee Leon Levy, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, public policy research organization.

NETWEEK

Netweek is a Greek magazine for business in the digital age. It covers business developments in information, telecommunications, internet, sales and e-commerce. There are columns for new technologies, management, marketing and human resources.

OIC

Newsletter of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) which is an inter-governmental organization of fifty-seven Muslim states.

A quarterly magazine published by the European Commission presenting a mix of research results and debate on scientific subjects of interest to a wide, non-specialised readership.
