Undergraduate / Certificates

Each academic department’s Chair as well as the Admissions and Enrollment personnel can provide additional information about the requirements and deadlines for application and admission to any of the undergraduate degree and non-degree programs offered by ACT. International students from Bulgaria may contact our representative offices in the respective country. Admissions requirements for each of the undergraduate programs are outlined below:

Admissions Procedure for First-Year Students

Applicants are required to submit the following when applying for admission to the program:

1. An Application Form.
   
   
2. An official high school transcript of grades. If you have not attended an English- or Greek-speaking high school, an official translation into English is required.
   
   
3. An official high school diploma. If you have not attended an English- or Greek-speaking high school, an official translation into English is required.
   
   
4. Official evidence of proficiency in English.
   
   
5. A recent passport-size color photograph.
   
   
6. A non-refundable application fee of 70.00 Euro. The application fee should be deposited at National Bank of Greece (account no: 895 298 00453, IBAN: GR 0301108950000089529800453, swift code: ETHNGRAA) or Alpha Bank (account no: 714002002004481, ΙΒΑΝ: GR81 0140 7140 7140 0200 2004 481 or Eurobank (account no: 00260520.10.0200017866, ΙΒΑΝ GR84 0260 5200 0001 0020 0017 866). 7. A photocopy of either your ID card (Greek only: ταυτοτητα) or your valid passport (all International students).

All application documentation should be submitted/mailed directly to the Admissions Office.

Applications receive a priority number which determines the order in which successful applicants register for their first semester of course work.

Transfer Students

ACT accepts credits from regionally accredited institutions for courses for which a grade of "C" or above was received. Transfer credit may be awarded for courses that are similar in content and classroom meeting hours to those offered by ACT. Credit will not be granted for courses that are not deemed relevant to one of the school's degree programs.

International Baccalaureate Credits: Applicants who have received scores of 4 and above on higher-level exams will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis for transfer credit. As much as one year of course work may be recognized, thus entitling applicants holding this diploma to sophomore standing upon entry.

Transfer students must spend at a minimum their last two semesters (i.e., their last full academic year) in residence at the College.

Admissions Procedure for Transfer Students

All Transfer applicants are required to submit the following when applying for admission to the program:

1. An Application Form.
   
   
2. An official transcript of grades. If you have not attended an English- or Greek-speaking college/university, an official translation into English is required (in this case, evidence of proficiency in English is required).
   
   
3. Copies of course syllabi or course descriptions for all the courses you have completed and for those on which you are currently enrolled.
   
   
4. A copy of your institution's catalogue current to your period of attendance.
   
   
5. A recent passport-size color photograph.
   
   
6. A non-refundable application fee of 70.00 Euro. Non - EU International Students

Non-EU International students are required to have a student visa and a residence permit for the duration of their stay in Greece. Please contact the admissions office for more information. Note that in-coming non-EU (International) applicants who are seeking a degree may only apply for full-time attendance (Ms. Roula Lebetli, Tel. 2310 398239, e-mail: rleb@act.edu).
